Dr. Howard Saal, a genetics and birth defects physician in Cincinnati has been federally charged with taking and possessing more than 150,000 images and 470 videos of child abuse material.
Recent lawsuits have revealed more than 100 families speaking out about the horrific actions of this doctor. They reported that he typically carried a camera with him at all times, which they found to be highly unusual. He would photograph children unclothed during medical exams, at times referring to the images as “glamour shots.” These images were not found in the medical files of his patients.
He also reportedly engaged in inappropriate physical contact, and went online to ask his patients for inappropriate images of themselves. These disturbing claims have prompted widespread concern among parents and former patients.
